Object Description
Klagetoh rug. Gray background with two central serrated diamond figures formed of stacked triangles: red central line with gray then white then black; zig-zag line formed of stacked red and black lozenges on each side of central motif; red band on all four sides with white truncated triangle forms outlined in black. Border: black band on all four sides. Warp: white wool; wefts: gray (black and white carded together) wool, white wool, red aniline dyed wool. Selvages: black cords added in on all four edges. Warp direction: 132.5 x weft direction: 93 x depth: .3 cm, plus 7-10 cm tassels each corner.
