Object Description
Diamond twill saddle blanket or rug. White, black and brown, with larger half darker emphasizing black wefts on both sides, shorter half emphasizing white wool on both sides; Border: narrow black band at top and bottom. Warp: natural handspun wool; wefts: natural handspun wool, augmented. Selvages: 2-ply white cords added in at sides, 3-ply white cords added in top and bottom.
Warp direction 93 x weft direction 62 x depth 1 cm, plus 8-11 cm tassels each corner.
Paper tag, written in pencil: "R2N, Diamond twill throw 24 x 36"
