Object Description
Black wool manta with diamond twill borders. S-spun black wool twill with red 4-ply and green 3-ply z-spun wool stitching. Center and border panels all woven in black twill . Borders stitched to center panel with red and green twisted rasied ridge. Next to the red and green ridge is a black ridge. Side selvages have been blanket-stitched, and top and bottom selvages have been folded and stitched over with blanket stitch and with a black twisted ridge. Length: 92 cm, Width: 118.75 cm, Depth: .3 cm. Thread count: 7 ends/cm warp, 8 ends/cm weft. Extensive damage to this peice. Tattered, many large holes, fraying, discoloration, dirt particles, etc. has been patched and mended in many areas with two different weights of black wool.
